Tricaster and Bitfocus Companion

Hello everyone,
can I control the Tricaster through Bitfocus Companion? I read on some websites (like Reddit) that it's possible. If so, how can I control it?

Yes you can! I have used it a few times. Note that Companion needs to be installed on a different system. You'll need to you your TriCaster's IP address as well.

Once you have it installed and running you have access to basic functions and macros.

I tried that already and it's not connecting.

According to the TriCaster module instructions, the LivePanel password must be disabled for Companion to communicate.

How can I disable the password?

Go to Administration mode (inside the Shutdown button on the home screen).

In the Admin mode panel, there is a Set LivePanel Password button, click on this and uncheck the Require Password option.
