Record straight to DDR

Hi!

On my old tricaster from 2017 I had it set up to drop my recording straight to DDR1 as soon as the recording was stopped so I didn’t have to go through files and find it to drop in. Is there still a way to do that?

To clarify: I just want the program video to record and then show up in DDR 1 as soon as the recording is stopped.

Hi there,

as far as I know (and remember from the pasts) this is not ´straight´ possible any more with newer / current TC SW releases (and I cant´t remember when/within what SW version numbers this started up from).

But, you should be able to include a just stopped recording clip into a DDR with 3(4) mouse clicks easily after:
Hit the DDR´x´ ´+´ Button to open the Media Browser Window and select the just recorded clip in "Clips->Recent->Complete" section.
This selection will then be still the current when you will do this process again to include one of the next recorded (stopped) clips into a DDR.

One way I have accomplished this is by using instant replay. Make a macro that perform an instant replay mark of the recording into the DDR, stop the recording, then clear the In/Out points on the clip. You end up with the entire clip in the DDR.
