NC2 I/O Bandwidth & Application

I figured I'd put this here since I don't see a separate chat for the NC2 I/O...
If I read the sales literature correctly, I can use the NC2 as an SDI/NDI encoder/decoder at the same time. The use case is placing the NC2 I/O at the venue. With eight total paths, I'm looking at converting six SDI camera feeds to NDI and sending them to the TriCaster and 3P2, while at the same time bringing two different NDI returns from my TC2 Elite back to the venue. Am I correctly understanding the basic capabilities of the NC2, and what is the minimum safe bandwidth I'll need to pull this off?

Yes, the NC2IO can input and output at the same time, you can setup any combination of inputs and outputs of the 8 SDI connections.

Bandwidth wise depends on the video format. 1080i30 is around 100mb per channel, but then if both TriCaster and 3PLAY are pulling the same feed you will need to double the number. The NC2IO has a 10Gb NIC (actually it is multi-gigabit speed, supporting 1, 2.5, 5 and 10G speeds).
