Hello. I'm having a problem: I've got 16 comps preset in an M/E, which switchs between multi-box and full-screen, and it seems to work pretty well. Because in some comps I need to trigger some Title or Chyron, it's easy to do it with macros, but it's a pain to memorize the shortcuts for all 16 macros. Using the mouse to select in preset is the most intuitive and fastest, but the mouse click in preset will not trigger macros, does anyone have any good solution for this?

Do you have a macro board? I have a XK-60 from X-Keys and it has saved me more times than I can count with macros.

I suddenly had an idea, can I use variables to determine the selected preset? For example: set_global_var: comp_select={v4_compisotab_load_emem}, then once the comp_select variable is satisfied with the selected presets, some other macros will be executed. I tried it and it doesn't seem to work. I opened the global variable and when I select a different default, comp_select doesn't change anything. Am I misunderstanding or is this idea not supported at all?
Why trigger macro when you send COMP ?
Use Macro to send COMP and all actions you want to perform.
If you have not stream deck or other, you can send macro with your Tricaster Panel (using MACRO button to affect trigger and call them) or your keyboard (with same process)
Because there are so many comp combinations, it's inconvenient to memorize so many macros. panel can do this easily, but it has to be done on other monitors (for my current situation).
To call macro, you can use your keyboard if you have not streamdeck.
If you have computer, you can use MiniMacroBar app of Kane (https://kanelp7.wixsite.com/kanesworld/minimacrobar) and if you know to use excel macro you can create button which send html url to perform tricaster macro. To remember, on each button you can write the action.
