Camera FPS settings v Tricaster

Hi, is there specific problems that occur if you are using different camera FPS from Tricaster stream output FPS?
 
The system will duplicate/drop frames depending on the type of frame rate conversion, you could end up with some situations where video isn't as smooth. But I'm guessing you are talking about 59.94->29.97 or 50->25, which should work well since they divide evenly into each other.
 
You can do it, but not a workflow I would recommend. Can the source device not be set to work at 60fps? That would be much better.
