Get current story id in an Artist Script, or from an API call

Hi

We have a ENPS ? Mosart ? Trio ? Viz Engine workflow.
I am trying to get the UUID of the story currently playing on air from Mosart, for use in a webapp I am working on.

I can think of two possible ways - which might be doable - to get the story ID, but I can't find the solution.
  • Get the current story id in an Artist script, and send it to my webapp.
  • Get the id of the story currently playing on air from one of Vizrts APIs.
So my two questions are:
  1. Is it possible ? in an Artist script ? to get the uuid/id of the story to which the current lower thirds belongs?
  2. Or is it possible to the id of the story currently playing on air from one off Vizrt APIs?

Guessing that your lower third is a TL page than, the short answer is: no, you can't
however, you can program your page to write the content of it to a log file but I wouldn't recommend it as it will slow your graphics.
you can maybe get mosart to log the calls
if you use Pilot pages then you can log them in the MSE log (but then, who and how will read them?)
we log it all in iNews, when a program is done, the entire rundown. I don't know if ENPS can do that but I guess so

anyway, the story id is probably only avliable in ENPS
