Hello,
We are a college video production class. COVID greatly interrupted our hands on classes and we are still tyring to get back in the groove. We have a TCDX410 and an XD460 Control Surface. As an underfunded rural state college, upgrades are not on the table at the moment, but we are looking into doing so.
For now, we need to know how to get to our virtual sets. A few years back, we played around with one of the newsroom, talk show sets. While not expert at using them, we did film one of our students in front of a green screen and inserted them into the virtual set. However, today, five years later, I can't find the virtual set. It does not show up in the list of ME possibilities.
Where are they? How do I access them.
I can call up the Virtual Set Editor 2 app but I don't want to create or edit a set, I just want to use one of the built in sets.
Calling up the Virtual Set Editor 2 leads me to a registration panel. When I fill it out, ultimately I get a message back that the serial number is wrong.
I am confused.
UPDATE: After connecting to ethernet, I stumbled upon a registration page that just popped up. I submitted it and then restarted the Tricaster. Now I see the New Tek Live Sets. What happened? My guess is that sometime over the past 5 years, we did an update but has not registered that update. Hence, a link between the update and the Live Sets wasn't recognized. If any one reads this and wants to educate us about what might have happened, Thank You. Otherwise, we seem to be working.
