Greetings All,

Austin Hinton in Denver has indicated that the latest update to TEAMS - v 2024.5.1.12 - will finally get the TEAMS app to work in Live Call Connect on a TC-2. I can't seem to find a link on the Internet to get that version Update.

Does anyone else know anything about this ??

Currently, have to use 'Classic Teams' with Live Call Connect. The 'New' Teams app is not yet compatible.

You can continue to download the Classic version, but you need to choose it from lower down on the Microsoft Teams page (look in the Frequently asked questions, under What does this means for the classic Teams customers?).

Another workflow (and I think this is what Austin was speaking about) is that you can use the Teams 'Production Tools' which provides NDI output from Teams (classic or new Teams) running on another computer to send callers from Teams into the TriCaster.

Hi Kane, Here we are nearly 3 months later and I',m still trying to get this to work. Do you still need "Classic Teams". I am running TEAMS 24152.412.2958.9166. Where can I find a link for TEAMS 2024.5.1.12 ?

Any help or guidance would be helpful.

The latest TriCaster version (8-3-240529) supports the new Teams client.

I updated the TC1 to this version but it still doesn't show an image of the Teams client on TC1. Before updating the TC1 the checkbox for NDI (HXDrivers) was not checket because it was "up to date". On both TC1 and Teams client NDI 5 Tools are installed. I saw NDI 6 Tools ist available. Do I have to install this on botch machines?
Thank you

I think this is something different than is what is listed above. Some TriCaster models (like 1 Pro and 2 Elite), have a feature called Live Call Connect which is what is being referenced above.

For the TriCaster TC1 (which doesn't have Live Call Connect), you are probably using the Teams production tools capabilities. This has to be enabled in the Teams client itself. Looking on my Teams (v24152.415.2975.367), this can be found under Settings>App permissions. There is a download you need to install to enable this function (it appears that when Teams is updated, which is often, you will need to go this this process again).

If you can't use this option, you need to work with your Teams admin to get it enabled.
