Hi,
This season we’ve been experiencing subtle flickering issues on the video output (graphics fill + key) using viz 5.3 with Viz Renderer Engine.
The effect looks like a sync or interlacing issue — all the graphics seem to shift one pixel up / down when performance becomes critical.
It doesn’t happen when the system is not under heavy load. The thing is, in previous versions, poor performance never caused this kind of effect.
So far, we have tried the following steps:
Has anyone else experienced this same issue? Do you have any ideas or suggestions on what we could try?
Best regards.

So far, we have tried the following steps:
- Replacing the Matrox X.mio3 card
- Upgrading to Viz Engine 5.4 (which introduced other issues)
- Monitoring and analyzing the console log, without finding anything conclusive
- Viz Engine 5.3.2.60000
- Matrox DSX-Utils 10.4.102.1346 && 10.4.102.1388
- 2× Viz Dell Rackmount Workstations (circa 2020): Nvidia RTX 4000, Matrox DSX LE4L
- 1× Lenovo Threadripper Workstation (2024): Nvidia RTX A5000, Matrox X.mio3
