Spark Plus I/O 3G-SDI doesn't get IP Address or show up in Studio Monitor

Looking to see if there is any way to fix the problem with this unit. For reference, I have already taken this matter up with Vizrt support and I am posting here as well to see if I can gain any additional help.

Background:

I have 4 Sparks of the same model. All of them are powered via POE from a POE switch and connected to that switch is the router. From the configuration of that router I have bound the Spark MAC addresses to set IP Addresses. The Sparks themselves are in DHCP mode and are always given the same IP by the router. Typically I will see all 4 Sparks in the list of connected devices, along with their assigned IP Addresses, in the router settings. Spark 1 of the 4 still powers on but has stopped showing up in that list completely, does not appear in Studio Monitor and is inaccessible from the IP I have set for it. The other 3 Sparks continue to function properly.

Troubleshooting:

Some things I have done to figure out the problem:
  • I started off by changing the port of the switch which connected to Spark 1 to one used by the working Sparks and nothing changed.
  • I powered it using the DC-IN and not POE, again no change in behaviour.
  • I tried connecting the Spark to a computer and accessing it via the failsafe IP address and was not successful.

It was at this stage that I attempted to reset the spark using the pin at the bottom of it. Strangely enough I noticed that no matter how long I held it, the reset sequence LEDs that I expected never occurred. The big LED in front normally changes colours between Yellow, Red and Green depending on what's going on with the Spark but here it was completely off. I compared this by resetting one of the working Sparks and that one would show the yellow LED after holding the reset button. I also noticed that once these other sparks were powered on they would show a yellow front LED that indicated it was booting up. This was not happening at all on Spark 1 so this leads me to believe it's some kind of firmware problem. Just to make sure, I again tried seeing if the Spark was getting an IP Address after an attempted reset and it didn't work, neither did trying to access it with the fallback IP.

I noticed this post on the forums where this person seems to have had the same problem I am experiencing but it doesn't seem like there was an end result.
Seems like my Spark PRO bricked itself

Can anyone offer additonal isnight into this?
