PTZ3 Plus NDI|HX3 Dropout Issue — Encoder Limitation?

My facility uses several Vizrt PTZ3 Plus cameras at 1080p30. Using them at 'Medium' bandwidth setting is stable, but the quality isn't acceptable for our broadcast application. Using 'High' or NDI|HX3 causes intermittent frame drops and stuttering.

The dropouts are especially pronounced during panning or high motion scenes, but are not limited to those situations. Notably, the issue does not appear in the camera's web preview UI, only in the NDI stream itself.

We've observed the issue across multiple independent receiving platforms: a Blackmagic switcher, vMix, and a Kiloview recorder. This rules out the receiving end as the cause. Our NDI network runs on a Netgear M4350-24X4V managed AV switch, which is purpose-built for NDI workflows and is not near its PoE budget ceiling. Cameras are on current firmware (v571).

IT has indicated network bandwidth is not an issue, though I intend to have them do a more thorough inspection to fully rule out any network-side hiccups.

Beyond that, given that the problem is consistent across all receiving platforms and correlates strongly with motion complexity, I'm beginning to suspect the issue may be encoder-side within the cameras themselves. Specifically, the onboard encoder may not be capable of sustaining NDI|HX3 output reliably under bandwidth spikes at 1080p30.

Has anyone experienced similar behavior or have insights into what might be happening here? Any tips appreciated. Thanks.
