Hi everyone, in the company we bought a 3play 820. When it arrived we realized that it is only in NTSC. And we need to change it to PAL for some jobs. Do you know if there is a way to pay for them and have Newtek send me a key that can activate the rest of the video standards?

How did you realise, that it's all NTSC?
AFAIK the 3p 820 is a multi-standard 3play. Never heard about limitations by a licence or so.

The manual says:
Here a single-standard model is shown. Your 820 should name PAL and NTSC-Japan in the Video Standard selection.

If you don't see it while having PAL cameras connected to it, I would recommend contacting the support team.

Por lo que sé, el 3p 820 es un 3play multiestándar. Nunca he oído hablar de limitaciones por parte de una licencia o algo así.

Aquí se muestra un modelo de un solo estándar. Su 820 debería incluir PAL y NTSC-Japón en la selección de Estándar de video.

Si no lo ve mientras tiene cámaras PAL conectadas, le recomiendo que se comunique con el equipo de soporte.

Hola, en un tiempo hubo dos versiones, una solo en NT y otra en multiformato (solo NT para USA). Si alguien sabe a quién contactar o anda alguien de Newtek por aquí, me gustaría saber si se puede solucionar por software.

The manual is for all 3Play systems. The 3Play 820 systems sold in the US/Candana were licensed for NTSC only use, units sold in other parts of the world were multi-standard. There was never an option to change the license type, if the unit is NTSC only, that it how it will operate.

Is the 3Play 425 hardware identical for both the NTSC US/Canada version and the PAL/NTSC Multi-standard version?

We have an back-up system drive image for a licensed PAL/NTSC Multi-standard version 3Play 425 which has been recently stolen.

If we purchase a second hand NTSC US/Canada version hardware replacement, can we re-image the NTSC US/Canada version hardware from our licensed back-up PAL/NTSC Multi-standard version? Will the replacement 3Play 425 hardware & software function correctly in the PAL mode?
