NDI Camera settings not sticking when accessing browser control through TC Mini

I've noticed that when trying to change settings on my NDIHX-PTZ2 cameras via their HTML interfaces through my TCMini AE3, settings like white balance and iris control don't really stick. As the sun sets and stadium lights come on, I access web control through the settings tab while in my production window and make adjustments which just disappear as soon as I close the browser window. If I go right back into the browser, none of the settings I'd adjusted are there anymore.

One day last week, I had already set up my cams on the roof of the press box and had to go back into the school for something else. While I was at my office Mac, I decided to confirm that NDI Monitor would see the cams out at the press box. It did, and I accessed web control from my Mac. Happily, I was able to use the web browser control for the cameras and - for the first time ever - the settings actually stuck. When I got back out to the stadium and looked at the signals on the TriCaster, the pictures looked the way I wanted. I was very careful to delete all my existing presets and set them again with the cameras looking as desired, and the game I streamed Friday looked really good.

HTML is HTML is HTML, as far as I know, so why should it make a difference which device accesses the web-driven controls on the cameras? It makes no sense to me. My Mac shouldn't be any better at driving a web page than the TriCaster, except of course the TC is using that craptacular MicroSloth browser instead of Chrome on my Mac. Is there really that much of a difference? Is there anything I can do to improve access to that control screen when I'm in the cameras' natural environment (a TriCaster)? It seems really goofy to have to move to another device just to expect my settings to stick.

Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't think that Internet Explorer would be any different, but you can install FireFox on an AE3 system. Set it as the default browser and it should be what opens in most cases.

After you install FireFox, I uninstall the Mozilla Maintenace Service, this will remove any warning about 3rd party software installed on the system. The only difference is that would need to open the About panel to update FireFox to a new version, while the Maintenace service would update it in the background.
