NDI Bridge not Working

Hope someone can offer some insight to this. We setup NDI bridge on 2 separate computers to do remote connections. The host system says it can see the outside world. The router is port forwarding to the host systems IP address as confirmed when you trigger start on the host system. The remote system does not connect at all. All system settings are correct on remote system but it does not connect. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked your Internet on the remote side to make sure that you’ve got enough bandwidth to make the connection to the host Computer?

Both sides are running same version of NDI Bridge? There was a change in the encryption starting with NDI Bridge 5.6, so you can't mix an older version with new version. It's best to make sure both sides are running the same version.

Can you reverse the Host/Join to see if that makes a difference, or try a connection from a different location (different ISP)? Some ISP's use 'carrier-grade NAT' on their networks, which can interfere with point-to-point connections. If this is the case, you need to see if the ISP can upgrade the connection to something that isn't behind NAT.
