My journey is over (for now)

Today marks the start of the final week in my current role.

10 years ago I started researching media products for a new venture at the university where I had already worked in the AV department for 19 years.

After many site visits and hours of pouring over websites we chose Newtek and the first of x3 studios was built.

What followed was a rollercoaster journey of which I have loved every minute! (almost)

Since the start we have delivered many hundreds of intro/conversion/welcome and showcase webinars as well as countless hours of online masters programmes, podcasts and media training for students of every level.

A personal highlight would be a live event including an alumni on board the International Space Station! Not a particularly complex event but amazing none the less!

Our studios are closing because of the enormous financial pressures on the education system in this country at the moment. Many have lost their roles.

So, from next week I hope to find a similar role and continue with what I love.

all the best...

Oh no, sorry to hear this bad news on your end.
Good luck for the near future and would be great to still see you active in here sometimes in the future again.

Best from South Bavaria.

same / similar over here, not only in education.
So frustrating to see where this all might move onto upcoming years / decades /..., without seeing any bright light(s) on horizon, ...yet - locally, but also (and much more important for our next generation(s) ) globally
