I see there is a HDMI display port on the back. Can this be used to feed a monitor?

At this time, the HDMI and USB ports on the Flex & Flex Dual aren't used.

Do you think they will allow a monitor to be plugged into it in the future? Seems kind of useless to have the ability to take the surface anywhere on the network if you can't see the TC interface

I'm not sure what the exact future plans for these ports, but my hope is that someday we will see something like that.

For using the panel with remote/cloud based systems, most people use either NDI-KVM or a supported cloud solution like NICE DCV to share multiple displays from the TriCaster (UI, Multiview, AppDesktop).

SO NICE DCV is supported by the Tricaster? It wont give me the warning about software everytime I boot the machine

An on-premises TriCaster system might give the message, but NICE DCV is the remote KVM software typically used for Vectar and TriCaster Now running in AWS.

I would load it on a local tricaster and run it.
