Hello - we have an issue when we import the clips from the 3Play into the TC2 during the live shows there is a timing difference between the two devices which might be a second or less, but then the clips we import look sloppy on playback in the show.
I'm not sure the best way to explain it but say there is a clip on the 3Play that goes from one camera shot to another. We clip the second camera angle, but when it gets imported into the TC2, you see a blip from the that first camera angle. The 3Play does NOT show that blip when you play it in the preview. When you export the clip from the 3Play, it does not show that blip, but something about ingesting it into the 3Play does not seem to be passing the clips or time codes properly.
We believe it might be related to the clocks on the devices not being exactly the same. We have both devices set to sync the Microsoft internet time on boot up, but that has not fixed the issue.
Is this something anyone has experienced? We’ve updated both the TC2 and 3Play based on NewTek’s recommendations but that did not fix it.
