  • Using the Preview Port 50010

    Hi,

I am building an external application that sends commands to the engine over TCP.
I want to integrate a preview for the operators. I saw in the engine documentation that the port 50010 is used for previewing the next seen to be taken on air, without interfering with the current scene on-air, which is exactly what I am looking for.

When I send commands to port 6100 everything works correctly, but when I send to 50010, I get the error "Skipped command from "[MY IP]review":" on every command I send.

Has anyone successfully managed to use the 50010 preview port?

Is it possible to get trio's Preview in an external app made in visual studio using the TCP port provided? I have tried receiving bytes but gets stuck in an infinite loop. I also tried Wireshark to try and see is there is any data and got no response.

      Cheers,
      J
